what up with that
you know what the problem with snl is? everyone’s trying to be a breakout star. forget an ensemble cast – very few cast members can have a believable onscreen exchange with anyone else. prime example: kenan thompson, who has jimmy fallon’s curse of laughing through all his sketches without the twinkle of mischief that made it forgivable. at least the writers aren’t also vying to break out, like they were pre-tina fey – they’ve already checked out.
